Can you believe this?!

I received my December issue of Country Living Magazine the other day. I flipped a couple pages and look what I found! Doesn't that pine cone tree look awfully familiar? I think it does. Try my 12 Days of Christmas Crafts 2007. Look and see for yourself HERE. Ha! I'm so ahead of the times. : ) Or somebody from Country Living looks at my blog. : ) They even styled it with deer like yours truly. I'm telling you, I think I should be getting paid for this. : )

My tree back in 2007 (which will be displayed again this year).

Felt Food: Apple Juice Boxes

I made my first felt juice box about a year ago for a custom order. I finally made some to keep in stock for the shop. The time frame is sad I know. But let's look on the bright side, they are here now! : )

The straws are not removable. They are sewn on tight.

Pom Pom Turkeys

I love these little guys.
They are more Martha Stewart...adapted from her pattern here.

I even hand dyed the wool yarn for these guys. I think I'm going off the deep end of crafting. : )

I actually just find it more economical to buy one natural skein of wool yarn and dye it to the colors I need vs buying a skein in every color for each of my crafts. See I have a method to my madness. : )

Turkey Pencil Toppers

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! Craziness.

Thankfully, good ol' Martha Stewart has some great Thanksgiving crafts.
The pattern for these guys can be found here.

Sydney can't stop playing with them - makes me think I should design some other winter-themed pencil toppers. And speaking of winter and Christmas, I want to announce that the
 12 Days of Christmas Crafts
will back on this year!! I'm so excited. I've been working so hard getting everything ready. It's going to be a great 12 days, just sayin'.

Here's the link to my past 12 Days.
As much as 2009 has had some of the best crafts, this year is really going to be even better! Can't wait. : )

Felt Cookie Week: Friday

And last but not least - Frosted Sprinkle Cookies...like the ones at the grocery store. They are so yummy. My daughter likes them because they are pink and have sprinkles - every 5 year old's dream come true. : )

I found the very best beads to make these sprinkle cookies. They look really great on the cookies.
A little bright cheer for your Friday.

Felt Cookie Week: Thursday

Peanut Butter Cookies. Another classic that can't be forgotten. : )

Felt Cookie Week: Wednesday

Jelly Cookies! In reality, I prefer something with more chocolate but these are awfully cute.
I couldn't resist sewing these when I found a product that would dust the cookies with "powdered sugar."

And you can't really tell in the pictures but they are puffed up a little bit. They don't just lie flat. I try my very best to make my food look as authentic as possible.

Felt Cookie Week: Monday

You can't start off a cookie week without starting with the classic chocolate chip cookies. : )

I'll have some of these cookies on sale in my shop later in the week. You can always contact me through my Etsy shop if you would like to reserve some that you see.
